Loading Drill Pipes into the Pipe Holder
Before using the machine, fill the pipe holder with up to 40
drill pipes.

Remove the clevis pins from the pipe holder (

Insert the pipes from the top with the male threaded
pipe ends toward the front of the machine (
).

Install the clevis pins before drilling.
Note:
Before drilling, check the condition of the pipes and
replace any that are bent or damaged.
Adding Fuel
Service Interval:
Before each use or daily—Check the fuel
level.
Use only clean, fresh diesel fuel or biodiesel fuels with ultra
low (<15 ppm) sulfur content. The minimum cetane rating
should be 40. Purchase fuel in quantities that can be used
within 180 days to ensure fuel freshness.
Fuel tank capacity:
208 L (55 U.S. gallons)
Use summer grade diesel fuel (No. 2-D) at temperatures
above -7° C (20° F) and winter grade (No. 1-D or No.
1-D/2-D blend) below that temperature. Using winter grade
fuel at lower temperatures provides lower flash point and
