Installing the Handle
1. Use the bolts and nuts that your removed in step
5 in Removing the Handle (page 2) to secure the
handle to the handle mount; refer to Figure 5 .
2. Install any wire-harness connections to the
connections on the handle (
Figure 8 ).

3. Install the hardware that you removed in step 2
in Removing the Handle (page 2) to secure the
throttle arm to the handle ( Figure 8 ).
4. Install the panel to the handle with the screws
that you removed in step
1 in Removing the
Handle (page 2) ; refer to Figure 3 .

(clutch bail) 3. Traction-cable spring

1. Disconnect the traction-cable spring from the
control-shaft connector.
2. Remove the connector by removing the pins that
secure the connector to the control shaft
3. Use the pins to install the new control-shaft
connector to the control shaft.
