Preparing the Machine

Procedure
1. Park the machine on a level surface, set the parking
brake, shut off the engine, and remove the key.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable; refer to your
Operator’s Manual .

Disconnecting the Hydraulic
Pump and Removing the
Coupler Assembly

Procedure
1. Loosen the 2 set screws on the hydraulic-pump hub
(
Figure 1 ).

2. Remove the 4 bolts and nuts from the hydraulic pump
(
Figure 2 ).

3. Separate the hydraulic pump from the coupler and
move the hydraulic pump out of the way.
Note:
Retain the hardware.
4. Remove the 2 flange nuts from the hydraulic-pump
hub (
Figure 3 ).

5. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 washers from the coupler
assembly (
Figure 4 ).
