2.6.1.1. Connection to the local mains

Starting condition - Machine in place and stabilised.
Step Key Action / Observation
1. Disconnect the mains.
2. Connect the mains (3) on the machine terminal board (2).
• Minimum cable cross-section 6 mm²
• See
figure 2 below.
3. Turn the local mains on.
• Minimum cable cross-section 6 mm²
• See
figure 2 below.
4. Turn the main switch (1) "ON".
5. Check the connection to the local mains.
• 380-420 V (Europe).
• 440-480 V (US).
6. Check the rotating field.
7. Check the voltage at the socket.
• 220-240 V (Europe).
• 100-110 V (US).
