Lifting the mill on to the Base
Prior to placing the mill on the base apply a
thin coat of oil or grease to the 4 machine
mounting pads to prevent rust and remove any
debris or burrs on the mounting pads. Next
carefully lift the mill onto the base. Tormach
recommends using the Lifting Bar (PN 31446)
with a crane or engine hoist, or place bars
through the machine base and use a forklift
(Figure 8). Please referfor more information.
CAUTION! The mill and base are heavy.
Use care and proper procedures when
lifting the mill onto the base.
