USING YOUR AC HAIR DRYER
PREPARING FOR USE
Pleas read these instruction before operating and retain for
future reference.
1. Remove all packaging and keep safe until satisfied your hair
dryer is operating correctly.
2. DO NOT plug in until ready to use.
3. Wash and condition hair as you would normally.
4. Ensure hands are dry and hair is not dripping wet.
5. Always blot hair dry with a towel to remove excess moisture.
6. If desired, attach the Salon Slim Concentrator to the nozzle
of the hair dryer.
7. Plug the unit into a suitable mains supply and switch on.
HINTS AND TIPS
1. As a general guide use higher heat/speed settings for initial
drying, rough drying and thicker heavier hair. Use lower
setting for finer hair, to complete your styler and for more
precise control.
2. Use concentrator to help direct airflow.
DIFFUSER DRYING
Operate the appliance on the low or medium hear settings only.
Lightly touch the hair with the fingers of the diffuser, drying one
section before moving onto another.
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS AND CAUTIONS
1. Never put the hair dryer down on soft furnishings, bedding
or close to a wall or other surface. Never cover the hair dryer.
2. After use or leaving the hair dryer unattended, always
unplug from mains supply.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Switch the hair dryer off, unplug from the mains and allow to
cool fully.
2. Wipe over the casing using a soft damp cloth (If
necessary a little washing up liquid may be used) Do
not immerse the unit in water or and other liquid.
3. Remove and wash the concentrator in warm soapy water.
4. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly with a soft towel
before reusing.

5. Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners. Withdraw the filter
and remove any build up of hair and dust.
6. This appliance is fitted with a rear mesh. To prevent an
ingress of hair, dust or fluff and it MUST be kept clean.
Regularly clean the internal filter by twisting and removing
the rear inlet grille(5). Withdraw the filter and remove any
build up of hair and dust.
7. If you have long hair or use high amount of styling products,
clean the filter regularly. i.e. at least once a month.
8. Never attempt to clean the filter by inserting any object.
STORAGE
Ensure the hair dryer is completely cool and hair dry. DO NOT
wrap the supply cord around the appliance. Store in original
box in a cool, dry place.

• keep rear air inlet grille and filter dust and fluff free.
• return malfunctioning appliance for repair as stated in after
sales service.
• ensure hands are dry and hair is free from excess water
before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
• unplug the hair dryer from the power supply when not in
use, prior to use, when setting down and before cleaning
• keep out of rea of children.
• take special care when using near children or people who
are sensitive to heat.
• allow to cool before cleaning and storing away.
NEVER...
• immerse electrical appliance in water.
• use in a bathroom or near any source of water/liquid
• use outdoors.
• wrap the mains lead around the hair dryer. Avoid twisting or
kinking it.
• carry or suspend the hair dryer by mains lead.
• allow air inlet or outlet grilles to become even partially
blocked.
• use other attachments other than these supplied.
• cover the hair dryer, or put down on soft furnishings or
bedding or against a wall or upright surface.
• use after malfunction or damages to mains lead occurs.
• use for any purpose other than these described in these
instructions.
WARRANTY:
This ceramic hair dryer is warranted for a period of 1 year from
the date of purchase against defects in the workmanship or
materials. if the TORLEN PROFESSIONAL hair dryer fails to
operate properly within 1 year of time of purchase and not from
the result of any action to void the warranty, it can be taken
back to the place of purchase and will be exchanged at no
charge. You may send the hair dryer with the copy of the Tax
Invoice to the address on the front of this user manual and it will
be replaced. The TORLEN PROFESSIONAL hair dryer is only
under warranty if purchased from a professional salon/retail or
authorized distributor. The purchase of the TORLEN
PROFESSIONAL hair dryer will not be guaranteed if purchased
through other outlets including internet. The replacement hair
dryer assumes the original warranty.
CONDITIONS FOR WARRANTY
1. The unit is returned at your cost to our branch office or
authorized distributor/salon with the Original Tax Invoice and
package with warranty card.
2. The unit is used and maintained strictly in accordance with
the instructions provided.
3. The unit is not opened or tempered with by anyone except
our authorized repairers.
THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT APPLY TO:
1. Damage resulting due to usage of power supply other than
specified 110/240 volts AC 50/60 Hz. Eg: inverters,
generators etc.
2. Damages resulting from accidents, mishandling or
negligence on the part of the customers and fluctuation in
supply voltage.
