B. Using needle nose pliers, remove

the cavity plugs from positions 40
and 48. Discard the cavity plugs.

C. Insert a flathead screwdriver

between the terminal retainer and
gently pry to unlock. There are 2
clips which need to be released. Do
not fully remove the retainer.

NOTE:

If the retainer is removed,

reinstall it after installing the MEI by
carefully aligning it with the pins and
pressing it into place. Take caution not
to bend pins during reinstallation.

D. Locate the un-terminated green and

yellow wires on the MEI.
