The serial number of each aeration block and its position in the tank should be recorded.
After installation,
take adequate measures to protect the elements and other
components from damage by covering with fireproof tarps.
(4) Plumbing in Filtrate Water Manifold
Before making any connections to the filtrate manifolds, the water line should be
flushed to remove any residual construction debris and avoid pressurizing the filtrate
side of "NHP210
Series” over 10 kPa.
Filtrate manifolds are shipped from the factory with one blind flange furnished at one end
only. Connect the filtrate water pipe to the open end flange of the filtrate manifold and
confirm tightening of the blank flange since it may have got loose during transport. The buyer
may need to purchase a compatible flange for connecting the filtrate water line to the
supplied filtrate manifold. In case of polypropylene manifold, connect the manifold to the
filtrate water line using rubber gasket with the tightening torque of 20 N.m.
To avoid membrane element damage never place the filtrate connections to the membrane
elements under stressful forces.
When lifting
“NHP210 Series” or its part, attach chains or slings to
the module and carefully lift it straight
up. Avoid moving the module
from side to side during the lifting procedure.
Never allow anyone
under the module during the lifting process.
Use chains or slings with sufficient load rating to lift the weight of
the "NHP210 Series" or any of its components.
When installing
“NHP210 Series” module, make provisions, in
advance, to access the upper portions of the membrane module
via a scaffold or ladder. Do not climb on the module structure.
Never step on the air diffuser/manifold. Use protective equipment
to ensure the safety of workers.
When lifting double-decker module, do not lift upper element
blocks and lower element blocks at one time. Disconnect the upper
block from the lower block prior to lifting upper/lower element
blocks should be lifted separately.
Please wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g.
work gloves) in order not to cut hand on the edge of the module
frame.
Connect the flanges of air diffuser/manifold to the piping with the
tightening torque of 20 N.m, in order to avoid distortion, leakage or
breakage of the plastic air diffuser/manifold.
