NOTE: When tipping the unit, empty the fuel tank and keep the engine spark plug side up. Ne
tip the mower more than 90 degrees and do not leave the mower tipped for any length of time.

ENGINE
Refer to the separate engine manual for all engine maintenance instructions.
Maintain engine oil as instructed in the separate engine manual packed with your unit. Read a
f o l l o w i n s t r u c t i o n s c a r e f u l l y .

extremely dusty conditions. Poor engine performance and flooding usually indicate that the

p a c k e d w i t h y o u r u n i t .
The spark plug should be cleaned and the gap reset once a season. Spark plug replacemen
recommended at the start of each mowing season, check engine manual for correct plug typ
a n d g a p s p e c i f i c a t i o n s .
Clean the engine regularly with a cloth or brush. Keep the cooling system (blower housing are

DECK
