Assembly Guide (A-HUB1-1)
Overview
With the Topaz Inline USB 3.0 Hub (model A-HUB1-1), users can house their high-speed flash
drive containing
Windows To Go
and all necessary files to run the application software, as well
as connect their Topaz signature pad.
Some of the Topaz Inline USB Hub benefits include:
1.
The user’s flash drive cannot get lost, stolen, or separated from the signature pad, as it
is completely enclosed in the USB Hub.
2.
The user’s flash drive is protected from possible damage inside the USB Hub housing.
3. As the
user’s flash drive naturally heats up during use, the Topaz A-HUB1-1 contains
the heat away from the user.
4. If the computer being used has only one USB port available, the Topaz A-HUB1-1
allows both the flash drive and the signature pad to be connected to a single port.
By using only one USB port, the A-HUB1-1 allows for improved field support and maintenance.
In addition, it provides a complete, integrated, one-part solution for deploying
Windows To Go
.
Assembly Instructions For Signature Pad Connection
NOTE: Power should always be off during assembly. Please remove the USB cable from
the computer before installing a thumb drive or connecting the USB cable of a signature
pad. Take care to perform these steps in a clean, static-free environment. During
assembly, do not touch any of the sensitive electronic components or circuit traces.
1) Plug your signature pad into the open end of the A-HUB1-1.
