GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Read and understand the following safety recommendations before using or
servicing the product.
Any change or servicing that is not specified in the instruction manual must not
be undertaken.
The manufacturer is not liable for any injury or damage due to a non-compliance
with the instructions featured in this manual.
In the event of problems or uncertainties, please consult a qualified person to
handle the product properly.
CLASSIFICATION
This protecting garment complies with the level Class 2 / A1 defined
by ISO 11611:
- Class 2: Manual welding technics with heavy formation of spatters
and drops.
- A1: Limited flame spread performances (as per ISO 15025 – proce
-
dure A).
INTENDED USE
This product is intended to be used for all welding processes like MIG/MAG (gas
and no-gas), MMA, TIG, micro plasma, plasma cutting, oxygen cutting, gouging
and thermal spraying.
It can protect against welding hazards: flames, molten metal spatter, radiant heat
and short term accidental electrical contact.
As applications may vary, it is the responsibility of the user to identify the right
product for each application.
This product partially protects the surface of the user’s body. Some additional pro-
tection may be necessary. This is the responsibility of the user to identify which
additional equipment is to be used in complement.
This garment is only intended to protect against brief and inadvertent electrical
shock that can be generated by welding and cutting machines. Additional welding
insulation layers will be required where there is an increased risk of electric shock
with voltage which may exceed 100V D.C.
In case where an apron is used it should at least protect the user from seam side
to seam side.
