Adjust the ailerons so there is a small gap
betw
een the leading edge of the ailerons and the
wing—just enough to see light through or to slip a
piece of paper through.
Apply six drops of thin CA to
both sides of all the hinges
.

Join the
rudder to the fin and the torque rod with the hinges

wipe a

xcess epo
xy
, then per
manently glue in
the hinges
.

Use 30-min
ute epo
xy to securely glue the flap
hinges in the wing and flaps
.

ak
e sure the tr
ailing
edges of the flaps are aligned with the ailerons and
the wing at the center section.
Use tape to hold the
flaps in position until the epo
xy hardens
.

Reinstall the engine and m
uffler
.

done so already
, connect the fuel lines from the fuel
tank to the engine
.
Rather than using a fuel filler v
alv
e
,
a third filling line w
as connected to the tank.

glued through the bottom of the fuselage and closed off
with a Great Planes fuel line plug (GPMQ4166).

the fuel line plug inser

Secure the connections with heat

ink tubing, tape or clips suitab

or that pur
pose

Guide the wires through the wing and out the hole in
the top of the center section.

aileron ser

o
wires to a Futaba dual ser
v
o
e
xtension
cord.
Mount the aileron hatches to the wing and hook
up the ailerons with the pushrods y
ou made ear
lier
dur
ing constr
uction.

get the other one to match.

connecting the flap ser

os to the receiv

ansmitter

First position the

m on the ser

, then mak

the pushrod and
cut it to the correct length.
No
w adjust the endpoints
so the correct flap thro
w can be achie

ed.
Set up the
other flap to match the first.
