Setup
Do not over bend or adjust the stand too many times as this may break the metal.
• Set the stand by gently bending the holder
up 90º.
• Latch the cap locking screw (4) over the edge
of the cradle.
Operation
• Connect the soldering iron power plug to a mains power socket.
• The LCD display (8) will show “OFF”.
• Short press the power button (7) to turn the iron ON.
• The power button (7) LED will flash rapidly to indicate that it is heating up.
- The LCD display (8) will indicate the temperature.
- The iron will heat up to the last temperature that was set.
• Press the (5) or (6) button to decrease or increase the temperature.
- The temperature will adjust to preset temperature increments.
- The LCD display (8) will show a flashing temperature value followed by the preset
number, for example “325
3
”.
See section “Settings Mode” for information about how to adjust temperature
presets.
• Short press the power button (7) to turn the iron OFF. The LCD display (8) will show
“OFF”.
• Disconnect from the power socket after use. The power button LED will go off.
Sleep Mode “SLP”
The soldering iron will enter sleep mode if not used for 10 minutes.
• The LCD display (8) will show “SLP”.
• The temperature will reduce to 200 ºC.
• Move the soldering iron to exit sleep mode. The iron will begin heating to the previously
set temperature.
Auto Shutdown
• The soldering iron will automatically shut down and stop heating if not used for 20 minutes.
• The LCD display (8) will show “OFF”.
• Short press the power button (8) to turn the iron back ON.
Settings Mode
• Short press the power button (7) to turn the iron ON.
• Press and hold the power button (7), a flashing LCD display (8) will indicate you are in
settings mode.
• Short press the power button (7) to cycle through each setting in the following order:
Temperature presets > temperature compensation > change units > sleep mode > exit
settings.

Troubleshooting
Please contact technical support service or other technical personnel if the following occurs:
• LCD display (8) shows “H-E” indicates a failed heating element.
• LCD display (8) shows “S-E” indicates a problem with the heating sensor or related circuit.
Maintenance and Care
• Always keep the tip tinned before switching off or storing for any period of time.
• Never clean the tip with coarse, abrasive materials like files.
• If oxide forms on the tip, lightly rub with abrasive paper, wipe clean, then immediately reheat
and re-tin the tip to prevent oxidation of the wettable surface.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines. You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and
contribute to the protection of the environment.
