Step 13: Clean the Area Around the Waste 

Toner Hopper Hole Before  

Sealing

After the waste toner has been removed from 

the waste hopper, use the yellow/orange toner 

grabber cloth to clean around the waste hopper 

hole, as shown in figure 14, so the ReChargX™ 

leak-proof seal will adhere to the cartridge body 

as completely as possible.

Step 14: Remove the ReChargX™ Seal 

 

from the Protective Backing

Remove  the  protective  backing  from  the 

ReChargX™  leak-proof  seal  (figure  15a) 

and lower the seal around the toner hopper 

hole.  Press  firmly  around  the  entire  seal  to 

ensure the seal securely sticks to the toner 

cartridge, as shown in figure 15b.

Congratulations – You’re Finished!

Congratulations! You have successfully refilled 

your Canon L50 (6812A001AA) toner cartridge 

and emptied the waste hopper.

Enjoy your savings. You’ve just saved $100.00 

by refilling your toner cartridge!
