3.2.4 Measuring corneal shape
 When treating or performing a refractive correction operation
using a topographic color map, it is necessary to use careful
judgment, such as checking the ring image (Mire image),
performing multiple measurements, and performing other
examinations. Light blockage by eyelashes and eyelids,
misalignment of the center due to unstable sight, faulty ring image
due to corneal disorder and secretions, etc. might occur. Incorrect
analytical results may be displayed if the Mires-projected ring was
not traced correctly. If the color maps are significantly different
between the right eye and left eye, or if the center is significantly
different from other parts (such as too steep or too flat), refer to the
results of other examinations for comprehensive review.
