INSTALLATION
Use the original bolts and washers that held the oil pump to install the new oil pump assembly.
・As the flow rate of the oil pump increases, increasing the oil pan to a high capacity oil pan
will be required.
CAUTION
■ Check for any oil leaks and confirm the oil capacity in the engine before operating.
If the oil capacity does not meet the needed oil capacity, the oil pump and engine will be damaged.
■ In August of 1991, the RB engine was updated (R32 minor change).
The inner gear mounting point of the crankshaft was extended to reduce the load
on the oil pump mount.
To install this oil pump on a pre August 1991 model, please change the crankshaft
to a after August 1991 model crankshaft (Nissan genuine parts: 12200-05U03).
OIL PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT
The oil pressure can be adjusted by changing the configuration of the parts inside the regulator plug.
Adjust accordingly to the specifications shown below.
Torque spec 9.8〜11.8N・m (1.0〜1.2kg・m)
