This TOMEI Oil Pan Baffle will be sandwiched in between the engine block and the oil pan.
Liquid (silicone) gasket will be required both on the block side and the oil pan side.
Check all the following procedures before start the installation for a smooth installation.
1. Remove the oil pan
2. Clean and degrease the mating surface both on the oil pan and the engine block.
3. Apply Liquid (Silicone) Gasket to the cylinder blocks mating surface.
4. Place the TOMEI Oil Pan Baffle on the engine block.
INSTALLATION
Please refer to the workshop service manual for detailed information on the removal and reinstallation of the oil pan.
Check before start installation
The circled part of the baffle plate is designed to stick out from
the edge for ease of installation that allows to tape it in place
during the installation.
Liquid Gasket(Silicone)
Do not over apply liquid gasket.
