1.1 General:
The product must be installed by a person who has the professional knowledge required to
perform the installation correctly. Unless the installation is performed by a professional, the
insurance companies may claim that the insurance does not cover any damage that has occurred
and that the offers made by the insurance companies to the property owner are invalid.
WaterFuse PlugIn is used to prevent water damage around equipment or in a limited area, such
as a sink unit/dishwasher. WaterFuse PlugIn can be installed with one or two motorised ball
valves and with one or two water sensors. If the ball valve remains open for more than three
days, the ball valve will be exercised automatically; however, the water will not be completely
turned off.
1.2 Handling
• Press ON on the WaterFuse PlugIn to turn the water on, press OFF to turn the water off.
• The water sensor continuously monitors the area for water and at an indication of water
the system sounds the alarm and the water is turned off. See section 1.3 Alarm.
• A 230V electrical socket can be used to connect the monitored equipment, such as
a dishwasher.
Note!
The OFF button on the WaterFuse PlugIn does not turn off the 230V, only the water.
1.3 Alarm:
• The water sensor indicates water
If the water sensor has indicated water, the unit gives a pulsating warning signal, the water is
automatically turned off and the LED indicator flashes red. Press RESET to silence the system
and fix the leak. When you have fixed the lead, press ON and the water will be turned on again.
If one or more of the water sensors are still wet, the system will sound the alarm again and turn
off the water.
The 230V socket will still be functional. If you want the system to shut down the electricity too in
case of an alarm, read section 2.2 Settings.
