IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.
- DO NOT touch soleplate or steam out let it is hot.
- Always unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.

- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water
presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the
bathroom, Ask your installer for advice.
- Do not use this appliance near water.
- While unit is connected to mains power supply, operator must not leave it unattended.
- The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
- When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is
stable.
- Do not use iron if it has been dropped or there are visible signs of damage or leaks. Contact
service centre for product support.
- The iron should be used on a flat and stable ironing board.
- DO NOT leave iron unattended while it is connected to mains power.
- The plug must be removed from the outlet before the water tank is filled with water.
- When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which it is placed is stable.
