POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Wash the Mug, Mug Cover, Removable Drip Tray and Permanent Nylon Filter
in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.
2. Wipe the unit with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse Base in water or any
other liquid.
3. Prior to brewing coffee for the first time, run the machine with water only.
Follow the directions in the 'How to Use' section. Do not use coffee and
remove the Permanent Nylon Filter.
