LED status information
The Power LED has two states: ON and OFF.
•
ON: Unit is receiving power
•
OFF: Unit is not receiving power
The DMX output LEDs have multiple states: RED, ORANGE (full), ORANGE
(dim), BLUE (full), BLUE (dim), and GREEN.
•
RED: There is no active incoming DMX signal.
•
ORANGE (full): The port is configured as a DMX output and there is an
active outgoing DMX signal.
•
ORANGE (dim): The port is configured as a DMX output and
there is no active outgoing DMX signal.
•
BLUE (full): The port is configured as a DMX input and there is an
active incoming DMX signal.
•
BLUE (dim): The port is configured as a DMX input and no there is no
active incoming DMX signal.
•
GREEN (intermittent): The port is RDM enabled with active RDM
packets on the DMX link. This GREEN intermittent color change is
present in BLUE and ORANGE LED states.
Note: Currently sACN E1.31
does not include RDM. Once sACN E1.31 is ratified to include RDM,
there will be a free software update issued for the IQ-4 DIN Rail. Art-
Net must be used currently as the protocol for the IQ-4 DIN Rail in
order to have RDM functionality.
