Settings
Most of your phone settings are configured
in this menu option. The Settings menu
has several sub-menus that also have sub-
categories for settings.
Your phone is supplied with convenient default set-
tings so that you need only customise individual
settings when needed.
Only a few setting options are available in the
"Basic" user setting. Switching to "Advanced mode"
provides considerably more setting options. Set-
tings configured in "Advanced mode" are retained
on reverting back to "Beginner mode".
Phone settings
This is where you set the date, time, language, font
size, tones, volume and displays.
Date & Time
Enter the current date and time here.
If in “Advanced” mode you set "Auto update" to
"On", the phone automatically takes the date and
time from the service provider network, and auto-
matically adjusts for transitions between summer
and winter time and changes across time zones.
This service is not offered by all providers however.
