Setup of emergency calls
Setting up emergency calls means it must be enabled, and involves
entering the emergency text and the emergency numbers.
With the phone in standby, select the left display button, then "Set-
tings" in the main menu and then "Emergency settings". This is where
all the settings for configuring emergency calls are.
Note: The emergency settings are only available in the "Ad-
vanced mode" user setting. If an emergency call has
been set up in this user setting, it remains available even
if the user settings are reset to "Beginner mode".
Emergency button on/off
Here you specify whether the emergency button on the back of the
phone is enabled or disabled.
When the button is enabled, the emergency function is active as de-
scribed. With the button disabled, the emergency call function is not
available, even if you have saved the emergency numbers and text.
Emergency numbers
Enter your emergency numbers (up to five) under "Emergency num-
bers". In an emergency, the first number entered is called first, then
the second, etc.
Accessing the menu option shows the five memory locations for
emergency numbers. Press the left display button
and select the
emergency number from the contacts, or enter it manually.
You are able to change the content of the SOS SMS with "Edit mes-
sage".
Use "Send SMS" to specify whether the emergency SMS is sent be-
fore the emergency number is dialled.
