Initial use

The SIM card is pushed, with the card's contacts
facing downwards, between the telephone's con-
tacts and the metal retaining clip. The notch in
the casing must be facing the same way as the
SIM card. The SIM card must fit exactly into the
notch.

Then the battery is inserted. The three battery
contacts must be pointing towards the three con-
tact pins on the telephone on the bottom right
underneath the SIM card.

The battery is first inserted at the bottom at the
contact areas and then at the top into the notch
of the telephone.

Then replace the casing cover and push it up-
wards until it clicks into place.

Switching on the telephone

Press the red hang up key for 3–5 seconds until the display lights up.

You are then prompted to enter the PIN (personal identification number)
for your SIM card. You can find this four-digit number in the documenta-
tion for your SIM card. Use the keypad to enter the four digits, and then
press the green dial key .
