Emergency call

41

After having selected the emergency call number you will be asked
whether you also wish to send an SMS to that number. You should
confirm this in case the emergency call number is a mobile phone
number. With fixed net phone numbers you should only confirm this
when you are sure that the phone behind this number is capable of
receiving SMS.

Note:

If you activate SMS with phones behind phone numbers
which are not capable of receiving SMS the service pro-
vider will call the subscriber and read the SMS to them.
This call would result in having that phone busy right in the
moment when the mobile phone tries to call this phone
with its emergency call.

When you select "Delete", the phone shows you all already setup
emergency call numbers. By selecting an emergency call number
and pressing the dial key the number can be deleted.

Note:

To edit an emergency call number it must be deleted first
and then programmed once again.

"Change Sequences" changes the sequences of the emergency
numbers.

Emergency text

Here you enter the text which will be sent in an emergency as SMS.
You can edit the text.

Emergency button

Here you select whether or not the emergency call button at the
backside of the phone will be activated.

With an activated button the emergency call function is active as ex-
plained above. With a not activated button the emergency call func-
