3. Display keys (selection keys)
The main difference between standard mode and switchboard mode is the function of the display keys
(selection keys) when dealing with more than one call at the same time. Different connections will be
shown on the display in a list and can basically have three states:
One connection in "connected" state
One or more connections in "on hold" state
One or more connections in "call waiting" state
In standard mode
When operating the display keys with the connection list in standard mode a continuative list with
available options is shown (same as with release 1).
In switchboard mode
When operating the display keys in switchboard mode next to the connections "on hold" or "call
waiting" the predefined function will be carried out immediately:
Connections in "on hold" state
Function “retrieve”
Connections in "call waiting" state
Function "accept"
