Introduction

Photopette

Photopette

is a handheld fixed-wavelength spectrophotometer for rapid,

on-spot analysis. It works together with a smartphone or computing device

using a dedicated application which connects via a Bluetooth™ link for

taking measurements and data-transfer. It is a mobile, simple to use
UV/VIS spectrophotometer instrument with a unique measurement tip
(CuveTip

™

) coupled to a detector for accurate and precise measurement.

All Photopette

models are able to measure in small sample volume (45

µl), without any sample lost. Due to its small footprint, Photopette

can

conduct tests in a very small space setting such as a fume or cell culture
hood.

All calculations for a measurement are performed by a mobile device
through the Photopette

App. The App is designed for using different pre-

programmed Application Types with a high degree of
flexibility and accessibility.
