Setting the Clock Time
Important
– While setting the time, if you do not press the appropriate buttons (as explained below) within
approximately 9 seconds, the display will stop flashing. If this happens you must follow the
instructions again from step 1.
Setting the Clock Time
1. Press the
Time Set
button. The display will begin to flash.
2. Press the
or
button to set the correct time. REMEMBER to set the correct AM or PM. The
PM Indicator
is located on the left side of the time digits.
3. Press the
Time Set
button to return the display to normal mode. You can also allow the display to flash
for approximately 8 seconds to return to normal mode.
Note:
While setting the time, if you press and hold the
or
button the minutes will begin at a
moderate pace, then get faster. This will assist you in setting the time both fast and exact.
Listening to Compact Discs
1. Push down gently on the CD player door where it says "
OPEN
". The door will automatically open.
2. Place a disc on the CD spindle with the printed side facing up, then gently close the CD player door.
3. Press the
Play/Pause
button. The
CD Track Indicator
will appear on the right side of the display.
The CD will begin to play.
4. Press the
Play/Pause
button during play if you wish to pause play. The
Play Arrow Indicator
will
flash. Press the
Play/Pause
button again to continue play. The
Play Arrow Indicator
will stop flashing.
5. During play you can adjust the volume level with the
Volume
control.
6. When you are finished listening, press the
Stop
button to stop play. The
CD Track
and
Play Arrow
Indicators
will disappear from the display. The CD player can also be turned off by pressing the
Off/Alarm
Reset
button.
Note:
If a disc plays through until the end, the CD player will automatically stop when the disc is finished playing.
