Chapter 4. The Timex FamilyConnect

app
Use the Timex FamilyConnect TM app on your phone to locate the watch, check activity records,
configure settings, and more.
Map View
When you launch the Timex FamilyConnect TM app on your phone, the Map View screen is
displayed.
Tap to access the main menu.
Tap to view the locations of your phone and the paired watch.
Tap to view notifications.
Tap to view the location of the paired watch.
Tap to access Watch Data & Settings .
Tap to open your local map app.
Tap to show or hide the quick access descriptions.
Tap to enable Active Tracking mode.
Tap to refresh the location of your paired watch.
Tap to make a phone call to your paired watch.
Tap to send messages to your paired watch.
Tap to locate your phone and the paired watch.
Tap to change the map view.
Active Tracking mode
With this mode enabled, the watch updates its location every 3 minutes. What's more, the
Active Tracking mode, when enabled, will last for 15 minutes.
