Based on input from some of the world’s top photographers, the Journalist–or J-Series–Bags maintain the “function-first”
philosophy of Jim Domke, while adding some new touches, such as a more versatile Padded Insert system and removable
“armor” panels for extra protection. All J-Series bags are made of super-tough 1050 denier ballistic nylon. They come
in black only, with muted labeling–so the whole world doesn’t know you’re carrying expensive photo equipment.
Inside you’ll find a taller, bigger main
compartment to fit bigger cameras with
lens attached. The adjustable Padded
Insert has two movable divider walls so
you can arrange the main compartment
any way you like. Two more Padded
Inserts can go into the large end pockets.
J-1 easily holds two camera bodies with
motor drives, 4 to 6 AF lenses, flash,
meter, film, filters and more.

The J-2 is very similar to the J-1 in form,
function, and feature, the key difference
being the J-2’s smaller size. It’s 2" smaller
in length and height to accommodate
slightly smaller camera systems than the J-1.

A “super compact” part of the J-Series
that’s just the right size when you want to
travel light to a shoot, but still have all the
basics with you. Has the same materials
and styling as the J-1 and J-2. Can hold
1 or 2 cameras with or without motor
drives, 3 or 4 lenses, flash, film and filters.
