CLEANING
Unit should be completely cleaned every 1000 operating hours by service technicians.
WARNING
USE A DAMP CLOTH ONLY TO CLEAN UNIT, EXCESSIVE WATER MAY CAUSE
SHORT CIRCUIT.
Daily
Using a damp cloth, wipe all areas of the microwave including exterior, interior, and door. A mild soap
may be used if necessary to remove spills or splatters. Dry with a soft cloth. Care should be taken in
cleaning the touch control panel.
CAUTION
Do not use any type of household or abrasive cleaner. Scouring pads are also
unacceptable as they may scratch the electropolished metal and damage the paint
finish on plastic parts. The only acceptable cleanser is a cloth moistened in water
and a mild soap.
OPERATING HINTS
Condition:
There is no light in microwave when door is open or during operation.
Hint:
Check display. If display is lit up with 00:00, there is power to microwave. Light bulb
has burned out and needs to be changed. Continue to use microwave. Microwave light
bulb can be changed by TIA approved repair station.
Condition:
There is no light in microwave when door is open or during operation.

Check display. If display is not lit up, there is no power to microwave. Check circuit
breaker.
Condition:
Chime does not sound at end of cooking time.
Hint:
Continue to use microwave. Microwave chime can be repaired by TIA approved repair
station.
Condition:
Light does not turn off and microwave will not start after door has been closed.
Hint:
Check door latch to make sure there is no obstruction. If microwave still will not turn on
contact TIA to schedule repair of the safety interlock system.
