Chapter 3 - Configuration

Windows XP

Follow the steps below to configure a Windows XP computer.

1.

At the Windows Control Panel, double-click the 

Network Connections

 

icon.

 You can find the Control Panel either through the Start menu or “My 

Computer.”

2.

At the Network Connections window, double-click the 

Local Area 

Connection

 icon for the Ethernet connection you are using for mini-VSAT 

Broadband.

3.

At the Local Area Connection Status window, select the General tab. Then 
click the 

Properties

 button. 

If this screen doesn’t appear, simply skip to 

Step 4.
