Select the
Current day
option and use the
buttons to select the current day from the list. Once a day has been
selected the other menu options appear.You can then set a maximum duration for the TV to operate for every day of
the week.

Select each of the options in turn and use the
buttons to select
Free
or select a time from 30 minutes to 16
hours in 30-minute intervals.
Note: the conditions for access you define are valid every week until you change them.

Select the
Return
option and press
OK
to confirm and return to the
KIDPASS
menu.

Check the
KidPass
box by pressing
OK
to enable the KidPass function and immediately start the countdown if an
access restriction has been set for that day.The
INSTALLATION
and
TIME
menus are also locked.
To disable the KidPass function, you must uncheck the
KidPass
option in the
KIDPASS
menu. Any operating times which
may have been entered in the
KIDPASS SCHEDULE
menu are retained, but have no effect
Locking the buttons on the front of the TV set

Select the
Lock fr. panel
option from the
KIDPASS
menu and press
OK
to check the box.
2.
The buttons on the front of the TV set will be locked, as well as the
INSTALLATION
and
TIME
menus. In this case,
the remote control will be required to operate the television.
To cancel the lock function, press
OK
to uncheck the box.
Changing the PIN code

. Select the
New PIN code
option from the
KIDPASS
menu and enter a new four-digit code using the numeric
buttons on the remote control.
2.
Enter the code again to confirm it.
Select
Return
and press
OK
to confirm to return to the
OVERVIEW
menu. Press
EXIT
to close the menu.
Operation (TV mode)
As soon as a function limiting access is enabled, you have to enter your PIN code:
- to be able to access the
KIDPASS
menu
- to be able to access the
TIME
menu via
OVERVIEW
or by pressing the green button
- to be able to access the
INSTALLATION
menu.
To unlock the
TIME
and
INSTALLATION
menus you have to disable the two functions limiting access.
There are various scenarios possible when you check the
KidPass
box to enable the KidPass function:
- If a time limit has been allocated for the current day the countdown starts from the first time the television is switched on
that day. Press the
INFO
button (yellow) to find out the amount of time available.
- Once the time limit has run out the TV set automatically goes into standby mode.When this happens:
- If a wake-up was programmed for that day it will not be able to come on.
- If the TV set is switched on again the
PIN CODE
menu appears against a grey background and the sound is muted.
- If the power supply has been disrupted (i.e. the set is switched off using the on/off button or unplugged, or there is an
electrical fault), when you switch the TV set on again the
PIN CODE
menu appears against a grey background and the
sound is muted. In this case, you have to enter your PIN code to be able to watch television and access the menus.
- If the time limit has not run out, but the power supply is disrupted (i.e. the set is switched off using the on/off button or
unplugged, or there is an electrical fault) and the time and/or day are not available, the KidPass function can no longer
operate.When you switch the TV set on again the
PIN CODE
menu appears against a grey background and the sound is
muted.You then have to enter your PIN code.The
TIME
menu appears for you to set the time (see “Setting the time” on
page 10) and provide access again to the
KidPass
and
KidPass sched.
options.
- If the time and/or day are not available the KidPass function can no longer operate.When you switch on the TV set you
will be prompted to enter your PIN code and set the time, even if you selected the
Free
option that day.
Note: if you have forgotten your PIN code you can cancel it.You do this by putting the TV set into standby mode, then pressing the
EXIT
button on
the remote control and the
VOL
-
button on the front of the set at the same time for five seconds. The TV set will then come on. If just one of the
functions limiting access is active you will be requested to set a new password.
This procedure is possible, even if you have locked the buttons on the front of the TV set.
