5.3 VIT Mode
The BVS-3232 may be configured to switch in different vertical intervals, depending on the video format
that is applicable. This may be either PAL or NTSC.
NTSC (525/60) and PAL (625/50) have different Vertical Intervals. Switching in line 6 in PAL means
switching in line 8 in NTSC. The PAL line 6 switching is not recommended for NTSC, but the NTSC line
10 setting may be used also for PAL.
Switch 7 on the configuration switch SW A selects the VIT mode.
The VIT Mode can be switched according to the following pattern:

Default is PAL (625/50), Line 6.
5.4 Power up mode
Switch 8 on the configuration switch SW A defines the power up mode. The BVS-3232 router provides
two modes for powering up the system.
Mode 1 switches all outputs to input 1.
Mode 2 switches all outputs according to the buffered information in the routers processor system.
The power up reset can be switched according to the following pattern:
- means switch down
* means switch up

Default is Mode 2.
6 Connecting video signals to the BVS-3232
The BVS-3232 router offers standard 75 ohms BNC connectors for video in- and outputs. All video
inputs are terminated with 75 ohms.
