Section 3 — Menus

Matte - Background Menu

When

BKGD

), the menu displays two panes for

control of Bkgd 1 and Bkgd 2, including base and wash colors, wash direc-
tion and offset, and wash edge texture attributes. Each touch pad activates
the soft knobs to control those parameters. Values can be entered with the
popup keypad, or with the standard PC keyboard.

Transform Engine Menus

Standard Kalypso Classic Transform Engines are controlled by three menus
(Transforms, Picture, and Drop Shadow), in addition to the Transform sub-
panel controls on the Main panel. Transform Engines are available for
Kalypso HD and Duo systems. This type of Transform Engine operates the
same as the Kalypso Classic version, except Picture Blur and Drop Shadow
Blur are not supported. Inactive menu controls are grayed out on these sys-
tems.

Kalypso systems equipped with the Kurl option have two additional
menus available (Kurl, Splits/Mirrors) to control these added capabilities.
Kalypso HD/Duo systems equipped with the Advanced Effects option
have additional Glow, Defocus, and Lighting menus.
