USING YOUR APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Take away all the packaging materials from the outside and inside of
the kettle.
2. Before first use, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating
plate on the kettle is compatible with the voltage of your power
supply.
3. If you need to use an extension cord, it must be grounded.
4. To clean the inside of the kettle before first use, fill it with water then
heat the kettle up. Change the water and repeat twice. Finally,
discard the water.
OPERATING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Open the lid. Fill the kettle with between 0.50L and 1.7L of water (i.e.
the minimum and maximum levels). Replace the lid and make sure it
locks in place. Do not fill through the spout.
Note: If you fill water below the minimum level (0.50L), the kettle may
stop even before the water is heated. If instead you exceed the
maximum level (1.7L), the water may overflow the kettle when it boils.
2. Plug the base to the mains. Put the kettle on the base by following the
instructions of this manual.
3. Press the START button to switch on the unit.
4. If the indicator lights up, it means that the kettle is switched on. After
the water has heated for some time, power will automatically be
switched off and the indicator light will turn off.
5. If you want to turn off the power before the water is boiled, you can
stop the kettle by lifting the START button.
Follow these instructions carefully and do not open the
lid until the operation is complete.
