After Modification
Symptom / Problem Observed :
Cable Clip
Burning of tracks on the PCB of CRT due to a arcing problem.
Solution :
I) Electric :
I-a) Check the presence and add if necessary the following
elements (absent on some versions of PCB) :
- Capacitor 220pF 10% 1KV in position CB185
(red CRT) and CB 385 (blue CRT)
PART N° 25460410.
- Jumper in position JB323 (blue CRT).
I-b) Delete the capacitor CB186 (red CRT) and CB386 (blue CRT).
I-c) If there is a coil in position LB200 (green CRT), replace
by a jumper.
II) Mechanical :
Cut the cable clip and move away the EHT cables of wire
connector BB104, then attach cables EHT with a new cable clip
(see photo).
Caution : The modifications described above can create ringing
effect, visible on blue screen :
On the install menu. If you observe a effect ringing on the left side screen, replace
capacitors CB169, CB269 and CB369 by a jumper and change the coil LP112 (on the power board)
by the new model
