Keypresses are indicated by either a “transmit” symbol in the LCD display or
by a change of screen display.

TV Mode
Only a TV code can be programmed under the TV mode key.
Setup Screen Navigation
To entry the Setup Menu, press and hold the Setup key until CODE SETUP appears in the display. The “SET” symbol
will always be shown when the remote is in Setup. Successive presses of the Setup key will present available Setup
options:
CODE SETUP > SYSTEM SETUP > TIMER SETUP > LERNEN SETUP > SETUP VERL.
Press Okay to select the desired programming step required.
Use the Setup, Okay, Up, Down, Left and Right arrow keys for Setup screen navigation and selection. To exit Setup
routines and return to normal operation, press the Exit key or navigate to the “EXIT SETUP” screen and press Okay.
Completion of some Setup routines will automatically return the remote to normal operation.

Exit from Setup will also occur automatically after approximately 30 seconds
if no key is pressed. TIMEOUT will be displayed.
When the remote is busy processing in Setup routines, WARTEN will be
displayed.
Shift Function:
Some keys of the universal remote control can be allocated twice. To use these functions press and release the Setup
key (S is displayed on the LCD screen) followed by the desired secondary function key. If no key is pressed after the
Shift key the remote will time-out to normal (non-shifted) operation after 15-20 seconds.
Once a key has been pressed (and not released) the remote is programmed to cease IR transmissions after 255
IR message transmissions (approximately 30 seconds depending on actual code programmed). This is to prevent
battery drain should a key become “stuck” inadvertently e.g. the remote may become trapped down the side of a
chair with a key depressed.

The remote will always power-on in TV Mode on battery insertion.
