Programs are single sounds that are stored in the internal memory of Nord Electro 2. The Program mem-
ory in Nord Electro 2 consists of 6 Banks each holding 8 Programs for a total of 48 Programs. All Pro-
grams can be edited and replaced at any time. To select a Program for playing/editing, do like this:

can be used to transpose the notes two octaves up or down (if the se-
lected instrument supports this). A flashing

Note: Due to the actual key range of the original Piano instruments,
some sounds cannot be octave shifted up and/or down. For organ sounds, the Octave Shift will only
generate notes that are within the 73-key note range of Nord Electro 2 73. This means that using Oc-
tave Shift for Organ sounds in Nord Electro 2 73 won’t produce any sound in the lowest or highest
octave.
Press one of the eight
