3.0 Setting up your Personal Water Fountain
1. Slide the plastic tube that is attached to the opening of the fountain through the LED lights and attach it to the pump.
Important:
the tubing is secured at the opening of the water fountain, do not try to detach it, it will damage the fountain.
2. Move the LED lights up the plastic tube to the opening of the water fountain.
3. The pump is equipped with suction cups to attach to the bottom of the water fountain base.
4. Run the power adapter out of the base. There are 4 grooves located inside the base where you can run the power adapter cord out
to plug into the wall. The decorative water fountain top has 1 groove so that you can line it up with the base and not crimp the power
adapter cord.
5. Pour distilled or purified water into the decorative water fountain. You do not have to remove the top of the fountain to do this.
6. Make sure the pump is fully submerged before plugging in the unit.
Please note:
the pump needs time to prime up, there may be a few minutes where the pump will push very little water out the top of
the fountain. This is caused by air inside the pump and the tube. Once the water starts to come out the top, you can unplug and plug
in the water fountain a few times to help the push the air out of the pump.
7. To adjust the flow of the water, unplug the AC/DC adapter from the wall, once the water drains out of the fountain, pull the pump out
of the water. You will see a toggle switch with a + and – on each end. Here you can move the switch from left to right to increase or
decrease the flow of water and to avoid water spray.
Please note:
the water should make a nice calming sound, if you hear water slapping the side of the bowl and you have already
adjusted the flow, you may need to adjust the position of the water fountain itself on the top of the bowl.
4.0 Maintenance
1. To keep the pump clean it is recommended to check the water level every couple of days. Water splashing out of the fountain and
evaporation can happen.
Do not
let the pump run dry as it will damage the pump.
2. If debris / dirt is caught in the intake vents of the pump, disconnect the pump from any power source and rinse the pump under clean
running water. You can also use a soft bristle brush if needed.
5.0 Troubleshooting
• If the pump fails to run, try the following:
Unplug the water fountain and try it in a different electrical outlet.
Check the pump for debris/dirt and make sure the tube has no kinks.
• Little Flow Rate:
Check the water level to make sure the pump is completely submerged.
