Assembly
1. Remove dividers from under machine and insert into slots.
Operating Instructions:
1.
Plug the unit directly into an 110-120Volt outlet and turn on the power switch located at the right.
The red WAIT light will be on during warm-up. ( about 30 seconds) The machine will beep when
warmed up and ready and the green light will come on.
2.
If using Unibind products, insert the Teflon coated adapter now.
3.
Press the “Time” button to advance to the desired time setting.
4.
Fill your thermal binding cover with the sheets you wish to bind. Place the cover into the machine
with the spine resting squarely on the heating plate.
5.
Press the “Bind” button once. The moving yellow light will travel until the time is up.
6.
The machine will beep when the cycle is complete.
7.
Before removing the booklet from the machine, push down on the pages while holding the front
and back covers firmly so that you can be sure that all the pages are making contact with the melted
adhesive.
8.
Remove the bound book from the machine. Place it in the cooling rack and leave it for about 5-10
minutes. Do not try to open the book until it has thoroughly cooled.
9.
To continue binding, please repeat steps 2 through 7.
10.
Turn the machine off after binding.
