Firmware Updates

The firmware can be updated by the user in the field via the serial port or 
over the Ethernet. This includes both the main processor firmware and the 
firmware in all low-level processors. Refer to the 

iPort

 manual for the 

firmware update procedure.

Accessing the

Service Mode

If the Service is not displayed on the Main Menu, use the following 
procedure to display it.

a. At the Main Menu, press 

 to scroll to Instrument Controls > 

press 

 > 

 to scroll to 

Service Mode

 > and press 

.

The Service Mode screen appears.

b. Press 

 to toggle the Service Mode to ON.

c. Press 

 > 

 to return to the Main Menu.

d. Return to the procedure.
