Operating Instructions

Issue: 1.0

5-54 SAM12 User Manual

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Following this "Measurement
Aborted" message, once the Door
has been closed, the "Ready –
Push Start Button to Begin
Recount" message is displayed.
If the door is closed and the
START button is pressed within
the Measurement Start Timeout,
the Monitoring proceeds.
If the START button is not
pressed within the Measurement
Start Timeout, the "Normal
Background Monitoring" is
resumed and SAM12 displays the
"Ready – Open door to Monitor
Articles" screen.

If the background changes during
a measurement, a warning
message is displayed stating
"Changing Conditions – Please
Remove Articles".
A new background check is
required before monitoring can
resume

Open the door to remove the
article. When the door is closed,
the Updating Background
window is displayed.
