OPERATING SEQUENCE

Replace the S/SL Inlet Vent Line Filter

This carbon filter is mounted on the DPFC module located on the rear of the GC.
To replace the filter operate as follows:

WARNING! Before operating  the FOCUS GC MUST BE SWITCHED OFF.

Remove the FOCUS GC Top Cover

The top cover is fixed on the main unit with two front screws and two clips.

1. Open the GC oven door.

2. Unscrew the two front screws, as shown in Figure 15-6, which remain on the 

main unit. 

3. Remove manually the top cover pulling it up from the front, the two clips will 

be automatically unlocked.

Remove the FOCUS GC Rear Panel

4. Unscrew the four Allen fixing screws, as shown in A of Figure 15-7 .
