Replacing the Calibration Gas Flow Module
To replace the calibration gas flow module, you will need:
• New Calibration Gas Flow Module (PN 119246-0001)
• FC-43 calibration compound (PN 50010-30059)
• Syringe
• Wrench, Allen, 3 mm
• Wrench, open-ended, 7/16-in.
• Wrench, open-ended, 9/16-in.
1. Cover the work area with a lint-free cloth.
2. Shut down and vent the DSQ II, as described in
"Shutting Down the GC/MS System"
.
3. Remove the left cover, as described in "
Removing the Left Cover" on page 29
4. Turn off the CI reagent gas supply (if present).
WARNING - ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD.
Before proceeding. unplug the DSQ II to
avoid an electrical shock.
WARNING - FLAMMABLE GAS HAZARD.
CI reagent gases are often flammable or
corrosive. You must vent the gas to a fume hood or other suitable exhaust. The CI reagent
gas supply line must be leak tight.
