Operating Instructions

Setting the Solvent Type (ProFlow Flow Meter)

To set the solvent type for the solvent that you are using, follow these steps:

In Chromeleon, open the

Commands

dialog box for the NC pump (

→

page 89).

Select

%A_Solvent

(or

%B_Solvent

) and then select the preferred solvent from the

list.

Tip:

If you are using a solvent with up to 2 % additive, it is sufficient to select

the main solvent.

Solvent mixtures with higher percentages of a component require a solvent

calibration.

If the solvent type that you are using is not yet available in the list, perform a solvent

calibration for the solvent to be defined in the flow meter and added to the list in

Chromeleon. See section 5.5.3.1, page 114.
