Note
: On some injection valves, port 2 is also labeled “P.”
2. Connect

to the
REGEN OUT
port on the
suppressor.
NOTE If you need to extend the length of the
TO SRS/AES
REGEN OUT
line, connect the 10-in Tefzel
®
tubing
assembly (P/N 061336), provided in the Ship Kit.
3. Connect the
CR-TC

CR-TC cable exiting the EGC holder (see Figure 101). Push the

Backpressure Note
For correct operation of the eluent generator, the system pressure must be
maintained at between 14 and 21 MPa (2000 and 3000 psi). A system
pressure of 16 MPa (2300 psi) is ideal. Check your system pressure first,
and if necessary, install backpressure tubing to supply the required system
pressure. Install the tubing between the injection valve inlet (port 2) and
the EGC degas eluent outlet. The RFC-30 Ship Kit (P/N 060299) includes
various sizes and lengths of backpressure tubing. The actual backpressure
tubing to use will depend upon your system configuration.
