Operator’s Manual

Introduction

The Thermo Scientific Dionex™ Reagent-Free Controller (Dionex RFC) is an
external power supply, available in two versions:

•

The Dionex RFC-10 controls a Thermo Scientific Dionex AES™ Atlas
Electrolytic Suppressor or a Thermo Scientific Dionex SRS™

Self-Regenerating Suppressor.

•

The Dionex RFC-30 controls a Dionex AES or Dionex SRS, as well as an
Thermo Scientific Dionex EluGen eluent generator cartridge (EGC) and a
Thermo Scientific Dionex CR-TC Continuously Regenerated Trap Column.

The Dionex RFC controls these devices by supplying current (to the suppressor
and eluent generator) and voltage (to the Dionex CR-TC).

This manual provides instructions for operating and installing the Dionex RFC-10
and Dionex RFC-30 with the following Thermo Scientific products:

•

DX-320/320J Ion Chromatography System

•

DX-500 or DX-600 Ion Chromatography System

•

DX-120 Ion Chromatograph
