4.4 Operating principle
• In winter mode, the equipment draws heat from the outside air and makes it available for
domestic hot water or heating.
• In summer mode, it extracts heat from the internal environment (conditioning).
• The hot water for the subsequent production of domestic hot water (DHW) must be stored in a
storage tank of adequate capacity to meet the user's needs.
