INSTALLING THE DUCT FOR OPEN-AIR VENTING
If the hood is going to be installed with exhaust venting into the open air, the duct is installed as follows:

Mark the position of the two lock-holes on the
wall and then remove the hood from the wall
once again. Pre-drill the holes and insert the rawlplugs.

Re-hang the hood.
NOTE: For a rear-facing exhaust outlet, the
exhaust outlet should be installed on the hood
in this step.
Screw the screws into the two lock-holes.

Reinstal the filter in the hood and close the
glass door.

Install the exhaust outlet on the hood.
NOTE: This only applies when venting into
open air and with the exhaust outlet facing
upwards.

Measure the placement of the bracket and
mark the position of the holes on the wall.
NOTE: The bracket must be positioned so that
it matches the holes in the duct. Pre-drill the holes and insert the rawlplugs.

Screw the bracket onto the wall.
